What's the Bone on Broth?

When I worked as a Correctional Officer in Nunavut, the offenders used to love when they would get caribou bone broth. I never tried any because at the time, it grossed me out seeing furry hooves being boiled along with other parts of the carcass. The Inuit are very strong in their traditions and beliefs and swore that the broth was healing and necessary for all of your vitamins and minerals. Even with that, I could not be convinced to try any.
